After a period of silence and loss, Povin’ releases a touching new song, “PYL”

On March 13, Ukrainian singer and songwriter Povin’ released an emotional yet powerful ballad titled “PYL“ (Dust).

It is a deep and honest story about a relationship that has come to an end, leaving behind only dust and emptiness. The song speaks about the moment when words remain unheard and touches turn into memories that sometimes still hurt.

“PYL” tells about a state of hopelessness and an inner edge after which one has to learn how to live again. The singer makes a difficult but necessary decision — to let everything go: both the good and the painful, leaving the past where it belongs.

“I wrote this song for those who once felt that life stops after losing something truly important,” says Povin’.

The musical arrangement of the track creates a sense of transition into another space where a new, pure energy appears. The arrangement is built on waves of atmospheric pads, while powerful synthesizers act as a generator of constant movement, as if the energy of the universe itself were pulsing in the rhythm of the heart.

The composition also features elements of a symphonic orchestra and choir, adding monumentality, a sense of sacredness, and a feeling of eternity to the sound. A special place in the arrangement is given to the flute, which since ancient civilizations has been considered a magical guide between worlds.

“Povin’ is growing professionally. The cheerful and carefree girl is revealing herself as an incredibly deep and sensitive artist. The new song is very powerful,” says the singer’s manager, Yana Mayornikova.

The release is accompanied by a live studio video that conveys the raw emotion of the performance. Later, the song will also receive a full music video.
